i have found out that vlc  media player is a free and open-source, portable, cross-platform media player and streaming media server developed by the VideoLAN project. VLC is available for desktop operating systems and mobile platforms, such as Android, iOS,and windows 10 i will be using this as this is as this is what the macs have at college     I know the screen i will be showing it on is supporting the quality i edited in i downgraded the quality from 4k to 1080p Hd  you need a hdmi to link it to the mac. I will be playing my film on a phillps backlight tv from the mac to the tv  the best way show my film  will be using cinema mode on the tv as it more acurate it enhances the actual picture and it adjusts contrast light and look of the picture making it look more like cinema experience

Reviewing strengths and weaknesses of my sound sourcing and sound creation

For sourcing my audio i think i was best at recording it like when i recorded the bangs for the classroom i liked recording this as it sounded nice and went pretty well with the scene i had someone sit outside the door and bang and i positioned the camera near so it would pick it up i would like to improve on finding better audio off the internet and spend a bit more time searching for non diegetic pieces of audio because the one i used felt like it could be improved i feel like when it came to creating my own audio was pretty successful i made a few sounds including the banging and the feet skidding these were successful as the way i positioned the camera made the sound clear. I think when it comes to creating my own audio i would like to create some more sounds maybe like the sound of getting punched or maybe the sound feet running or stomping i think these would benefit better for my film and improve the overall quality of my film i feel very pleased about my editing and think it tu...

Reviewing the strengths and weaknesses of my production

My final production was similar to my initial ideas but there was a few changes like my original character was female and the stalker was originally supposed to be seen in some shots but i decided to make more eerie by taking him out and making it mysterious and creepy my pre production helped me out a little bit when it came to camera shots as i stuck to most of camera shots although some were improvised my intended target audience was for people who enjoy thrilling films and films that keep you wondering i think people who are fans of stalk thrillers would find my film somewhat interesting. I contributed to my film by doing several things i did all the camera work and directed the film by instructing my actors and finding the right shots i was also location scouter i sourced suitable locations in the park and in the street and film editor. i managed my time quite well i got my film created in a week it also it took a few days to edit i think i the overall acting and shots went well b...

Apply video post production techniques to the creation of a video project

I wanted to use my stalking scenes as they would create dark vibe and i decided to do this so i could make quick cuts to each scene so the audience doesn't know who the stalker is to until the last i also wanted the classroom scene to be unexpected with the bang as my actor is sitting reading then all of sudden he hears the three BANGS!!! i used a wide shot in the classroom to show the surrounding that he is alone in my final scene where my actor is walking up the hill i used a close up to show how anxious and on edge my character as he is terrified and worried about the recent events. For my sound i wanted to make a suspenseful diegetic sound this being my banging sound i like it how it comes from nowhere and is so unexpected i made this decision because i knew i needed something that would intensify the scene

Integrating diegetic and non diegetic sound into a video project

Image
In total i created 2 pieces of diegetic sounds and i sourced 1 piece of non diegetic sounds my 2 pieces of diegetic sound were the feet skidding and the banging of the door i liked adding these in during production as they made the film more chilling during post production in some scenes i adjusted the audio by leaving the dialogue but raising the background sound this means when it comes to the diegetic sounds they are a slightly louder i liked this because its chilling and more intense when the banging starts at the end of the film the none diegetic music mixes with the diegetic sound and they play together i added this into my film in pre production as the eerie music adds suspense below is the picture where my non diegetic music starts.

Create and record appropriate sound accompaniment for a video production

In my film i created several foley effects one being the skidding as my actor runs down the hill on the concrete i created this as its supposed to be that my actor is stopping quickly in confusion i like this how the skidding sounds as he stops running abruptley to check out the origami this is at the start of my film. Another is were my character is staying to finish work off and he hears very loud bangs from the door it startles him this will go in the middle of my film the scene where my character  i created this to produce tension and to make the scene chilling i didnt use any external mics i used the built in mic from the huawei p10 plus to record these.
